About Our Church

Living Faith is a friendly, helpful, open congregation of Christians of all ages, races and backgrounds.  Our first worship service was held on November 5, 2011 in the basement of one of our members.  We worshiped in that basement for some time and prayed that God would lead us and help us find our way.  Later we found space for worship at Bethany Collegeside, a Care and Independent Living Facility of the Red Deer College Campus.  After a number of years it became clear that we needed others from beyond Bethany for our congregation to survive. so we looked into the larger community for both new members and space to grow and reach out.  West Park Presbyterian Church provided us with needed rental space and we worshiped at both locations for some time until it was decided to make our Church home at West Park Presbyterian Church.  The people of West Park have been a blessing to us as has their church building and we thank the Lord for both.  We are now moving into our 11th year as a Congregation.

Early on we decided to become a member of the North American Lutheran church, because we believe that grounding in the Bible and the Lutheran Confessions was essential to who we are:  Christ  Centered, Mission Driven, Traditionally Grounded and Congregationally Focused.

Our worship is casual and informal, easy to follow and facilitated on screen.  We desire to provide a true balance sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in the Work and Sacraments in each service of the Lord’s Day, week by week.  We love and service our Lord Jesus Christ and want to be good neighbors and seek to invite others to join with us in faith and worship as we live our lives to the Lord.

Our Worship Services are at 5:30 pm at West Park Presbyterian Church, 3628 – 57 Avenue.

A safe and Respectful  Communion is offered at all our Worship services. Our Communion is offered to all Baptized Christians regardless of Denomination.
